Refund and Cancellation Policy

This policy explains cancellation windows, refund eligibility, and timelines for appointment and consultation payments made through Medihut Consultations.

1. Appointment Cancellation by Patient

  • Cancellations before the configured cut-off may be eligible for full or partial refund depending on service rules.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may be non-refundable.

2. Doctor-Initiated Cancellation

  • If a consultation is cancelled by the doctor or cannot be completed due to provider-side availability issues, users are eligible for full refund or reschedule support.

3. Technical Failure Scenarios

  • If a paid consultation fails due to verified platform-side technical issues before consultation completion, refund or rebooking support will be offered.
  • Intermittent connectivity issues on user devices may require evidence for case review.

4. Non-Refundable Cases

  • Completed consultations are generally non-refundable.
  • Refunds are not available for dissatisfaction without objective service failure.
  • External directory bookings made outside Medihut are governed by the source provider terms.

5. Refund Processing Timeline

  • Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method.
  • Banking timelines can vary by provider; most refunds settle within 5 to 10 business days.

6. How to Raise a Refund Request

  • Contact support with appointment ID, payment reference, and issue details.
  • Requests may be declined where policy conditions are not met.
